However, with this automatic security block in place and without any further details available to me, I've reached the limit of what I can do on this specific issue. While I can't help further with this particular topic, please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions or need help with something different. I'd be happy to assist you with anything else I can. To keep things clear, I'll be closing this current conversation now. Thank you for your understanding. ---------------------------------- UPI PAYMENT SPIELS Yes, I agree that it can cause confusion. On the payment/mobile banking app, it may show that the payment is successful. On Spotify, we're only notified that a payment was made. However, the payment is showing as failed, as the bank/payment provider hasn't sent us the payment yet. You have my assurance that Spotify hasn't received the payment yet. For transparency, you can also check the status of the payment on your Spotify account, through the payment history page: https://www.spotify.com/account/order-history/ --------------------------- Thanks for waiting! I checked your account and it's on (PLAN). I can also see that there's an attempt to make a payment but it failed. If you were deducted the amount, I assure you that the funds will return since the payment failed on our end. If you haven't received the funds yet, it's best to get in touch with your bank or payment provider regarding this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECURITY Disclaimer: As we value our customers’ privacy and security, please make sure to cover any sensitive information that might be visible on the screenshot. (e.g. full card details, account number, CVV of your card, expiration of your card) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LIVE ISSUE (CAN'T CHANGE PHOTO) I already checked here and it seems that other customers are also experiencing this issue. No worries, we’re now aware of the issue so our teams are on the case as we speak. Hopefully we'll have a fix soon! Be sure to keep automatic updates switched on so you get the fix when it’s ready: https://support.spotify.com/article/updating-spotify/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------BACK CHARGE SAMPLE SPIEL (PLEASE EDIT THE DATE) Upon checking on your account, the system failed to collect payment from your previous billing date last December 16, 2024, and was only able to process the transaction from the charge you got last January 7, 2025. While you were charged on this date, your billing date remains the same which is every 16th of the month. This is the reason why the system is attempting to collect payment today, as your new billing cycle starts. Even though you missed last month's payment, the subscription has carried on since the system provides a grace period on when it will attempt to collect payment. For reference, Spotify will attempt to collect payment from December 16th billing up until before January 16th. If in any case a payment was not made by that date, your subscription will be stopped and your account will revert to free service. The same goes for your January billing period. The system will attempt to collect payment within your current billing cycle which is until February 16, 2025. If it fails to collect it by then, it will cancel your plan. No worries, you won't be seeing 2 charges in a month for your Spotify subscription, as long as you ensure that a payment is made every 16th of the month moving forward.
