HBO TNT SPORTS

New and existing customers who subscribe to TNT Sports with Virgin Media can enjoy extra TNT Sports content through the HBO Max app at no additional cost.

When is it happening? The HBO Max app will be available on 360 and Stream from 26 March.

1.All existing TNT Sports channels will continue in the TV guide exactly as they do today.

2.Customers do not need to register, sign up, or download anything to keep watching TNT Sports channels.

3.There is no impact to how customers currently access or watch TNT Sports (such as the Virgin TV Go app).

New TNT Sports subscribers

New TNT Sports customers will receive an email (example email) explaining how to register and activate HBO Max. The email will link through My Virgin Media and then redirect customers to HBO Max to complete activation.

Customers who do not activate within 30 days of receiving the email will be sent a reminder.

Existing TNT Sports subscribers

Existing TNT Sports customers will be included in a phased activation plan, which will take approximately four weeks from launch to complete. Around 50,000 TNT Sports customers per day will be emailed (example email) with instructions on how to register and activate HBO Max.

If a TNT Sports customer does not receive their HBO Max activation email, or experiences any issues, please follow the process in Discover. Verify the customer’s details, including their email address, check the activation status (pending or failed), and apply the fix code. The customer should then receive the activation email.
