This procedure is used to determine what repairs/replacements were authorized for the outside authorization service contractor and to determine if the service work order will be recalled to an outside contractor or transferred to an AHS contractor. You can determine what repairs/replacements were authorized by reviewing the CSC Authorization Tab.

If the Customer is in an area that AHS does not have service contractors then continue to follow steps for Outside Authorization.

For minor repairs or replacements:
Do not create a recall to the outside authorization service contractor.
Create a transfer vendor and mark it authorization required.
Dispatch the service request to the suggested service contractor.

For Major Replacements:
Create a recall back to the outside authorization service contractor to warranty the replacement.
