Third-party purchases

PROBING QUESTIONS↓

1.) Thanks for letting us know about your third-party purchases concern. Just for us to be on the same page, were you aware of this purchase or was this an unauthorized purchase?↓ I appreciate that confirmation! May we know if you would like to avoid this charges moving forward or just leave them as it is?

2.) May we also know if you are wanting the charges to be refunded?

3.) Would you like us to add a blocking feature? Options are: -Add it for all lines -Specific line(s) only

↓BLOCKING STEPS SELF-SERVICE: For your future reference, to add third-party purchase blocking using the T-Mobile app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the T-Mobile App: Kindly ensure you have the latest version of the T-Mobile app installed on your device.
  2. Log In: Use your T-Mobile ID to log in to the app.
  3. Navigate to Account Settings: Tap on the menu icon (usually three horizontal lines) to open the side menu, then select "Account" or "Profile Settings."
  4. Manage Data and Add-ons: Look for an option that says "Manage Data and Add-ons" or similar.
  5. Content Blocking: Scroll down to find the "Content Blocking" feature.
  6. Enable Content Blocking: Toggle the switch to enable content blocking. This will block all chargeable content billed through T-Mobile, including third-party apps and T-Mobile branded premium products and services.

• Content Blocking will prevent charges associated with apps and purchases from other companies, such as those from the Google Play Store. Note that it does not block free downloads or content purchased directly from the web.

Hope this works out. Please do let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance. Thanks!
