With regards to payments made in advance, these are usually detected by the system as one-time payment and don't detect as a payment towards the scheduled payment. In which we normally highly recommend sticking with the date and the amount saved on the system.

Don't make payment(s) early or with an alternate method if your payment arrangement is set up with a Future Dated Payment. This may cause your payment not to be recognized by the system as fulfilling your arrangement, and they may cause duplicate payments, overpayments, added fees, and possible suspension of service.
