Debit Card Ordering

IMPORTANT: Confirm if a debit card has been automatically ordered for the customer.

If the customer accept the offer to receive a debit card, it will be automatically ordered when the account is funded.

AUTOMATIC:

Automatic debit card orders occur in batches throughout the day at the following times:

2:30 AM ET 8:00 AM ET 12:45 PM ET 6:00 PM ET 9:00 PM ET

Automatically ordered debit cards are sent by standard shipping to the customer’s mailing address on file. The debit card cannot be expedited or shipped to an alternate address.

PORTFOLIO VIEWER Automatic Card Orders: 'Card Embossed' field (if there is a date, card has been ordered). If blank, the card has not been ordered.

Turnaround time for automatic order: New (ordered by an associate or systematically) 5-7 business days (U.S. Postal Service)

Eligible for debit cards:

Spending Accounts (CHK) Money Market Accounts (MMA) CMG accounts

If the customer HAS funded the account today and the debit card has NOT yet been ordered in Portfolio Viewer: Compare BATCH ORDERING TIMES

If a batch ordering time HAS passed:

Steps:

1. Verify the customer’s mailing address on file.
2. Confirm the customer’s shipping address. (ONLY has a home address = mailing address).
