We will study the book of Galatians 6 : This is a great example of LOVE and UNITY
THIS MESSAGE IS SO TIMELY ESPECIALLY FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD CHRISTIAN FAMILY CENTER BECAUSE WE ARE PRIVILEDGE NAMAN TO HOST FOR THE BREAKTHROUGH AND INCUBATION FOR NEGROS AND PANAY.
We have special assignments in the body of Christ. Each of us must find or discover or purpose and calling sa kay Lord. For example like sa puzzle, every pieces is very important to come out as a great picture. This is the same sa house ni Lord "YOU ARE ALSO IMPORTANT" YES YOU ARE IMPORTANT SA PLANO NI LORD PARA MA HUMAN ANG PLAN AND WILL NI LORD DIRI SA KALIBUTAN. WE ARE HIS EMPTY VESSEL, AND WE MUST BE WILLING AND AVAILABLE.
In Isaiah 42:6 “I, the LORD, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, and I will give you to my people, Israel, as a symbol of my covenant with them. And you will be a light to guide the nations. * We are called to be the salt and the light, we are also called to be a peacemaker. We should be a vessel of the love of Christ to others so that we can unite them to Christ through the help of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who will work on them and who will minister to them.
**Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
- This one of the beautiful things about being a Christian is that you are not alone. God intentionally connects you with other believers and one of the reasons is we can strengthen and encourage each other.
- We help ease the burdens of others when we choose kindness, mercy, and generosity. It happens as we take time to listen, to pray, and to help. No one is meant to walk through this life alone, and each of us can play a role in helping to make someone's burden lighter.
**In verse 4: Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else.
- Walking and serving the Lord is not a competition towards other believers, because this is our commitment to God if we pleased Him and prioritize Him in every aspect of our lives and in our everyday journey with Him. This is a personal walk in the Lord, it is only between you and Him.
"Well done, good and faithful servant"
*We won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. Because we are facing different situations, trials and battles everyday it is up to us on how we face it, it is always a choice whether we will fight this on our knees surrendering everything to Jesus or we will face it will our own strength and be wearied, troubled or worst case is it will end up to depression. This is always our choice. As what is stated on verse 5: For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
**In verse 9: So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up. *Because we believe that everything that we do for the Lord is not in vain. The Lord is our rewarder. He sees everything, the effort that we are doing for His work, the time that we are spending for His work, also the treasure or the finances that we are sowing for His kingdom is not in vain. Everything is counted, everything is worthy to be offered to our Lord. Time, talent and treasure is from Him, so He deserve na e offer back tana sa iya.
**In verse 10: Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone- especially to those in the family of faith.
The central note of love is oneness. Love speaks the language of oneness, of unity rather than separation. Love can open us to our deep participation in the life of the whole; it can teach us once again how to listen to life, feel life's heartbeat, sense its soul. In John 13:34: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
Following Jesus requires loving His people, serving His people and extending compassion to His people even to other's that has no relationship with Jesus.
Everyday we should decide if we want to walk in love or not. Same also in making a decision if we will walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit or not. But as a believer we need to always choose to walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
Unity stands for peace in the presence of conflict; for love in the presence of hatred; for forgiveness in the presence of injury. Unity honors the many names for God, the many paths to God, the many ways to worship God; for there is only one power and presence of God and that God loves each one of us equally.
In 1 Peter 4:8-10 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
John 13:34: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
