BILL KEY TAKEAWAYS

The close date is the last day of a customer's bill period, decides the due date, and when the statement is mailed/available online. Close dates are automatically assigned at activation. A preferred date can't be manually selected. AutoPay is withdrawn approximately two days before the bill due date. T-Mobile has two main billing methods: Bill Arrears: MRC is billed and due after the billing period is closed. Bill Current: MRC is billed at the beginning of the billing cycle and due within the same period. Customers receive notification of bill availability within 3 to 4 days of the billing period close date. Payment is due approximately 20 to 24 days from the billing period's close date. Customers can view the full billing detail of their last twelve statements online for free on My T-Mobile. Bill Reprints are not free for all customers. Customers receive one free reprint per calendar year. Each additional month will be assessed a $5 fee. The Welcome Message for New Customers shows the following billing information: Total amount due. Previous balance. Last payment received. Unpaid balance. Current charges. Customers do not need to request paperless billing; they are auto-enrolled. You can identify a paperless billing account in: Atlas - Navigate to the Billing section of the Account overview screen. The Paperless indicator will display "Yes" or "No." Samson - Navigate to the Financial Summary tab to view if the Paperless Bill Service box is darkened. Select the box for view-only current Paperless Billing details, if applicable. Bill highlights: Bill-specific alerts can help customers understand bill-impacting account changes, such as late charges, rate plan changes, credit or adjustments, a new Equipment Installment Plan (EIP), or an address change. Changes that appear in the Current charges sections of the bill have a circled number, so your customer can follow the change through the bill. Late payment and information-only notifications do not carry through the bill and only appear in this section. All usage details, including zero-rated usage, are given on the detailed bill (charged) and online (free) bill formats. Bill images can be viewed by accessing a customer's bill in Samson or visiting the support content(opens in a new tab) on T-Mobile.com.
