Customer Requests & Technician Safety

Sometimes when discussing the appointment window and setting expectations for the tech visit, a customer will ask us to make a note of a special request (i.e. requesting a specific time or for tech to call 30 mins prior to arrival, etc.).

While we are here to help and we are refreshingly great, we need to take a pause and ask ourselves, "is this a reasonable request, is it within policy, and could our technician's safety be compromised?"

BEFORE we add notes or agree to special requests for our customer, it is important to stick to our appointment policies and consider the impact to our technicians.

For example, the customer states, "I do have a dog loose in the yard, but if your tech just brings dog treats, Mr. Snuffy will not bite."

First, our technicians do not carry dog treats as standard equipment. Secondly, it doesn't matter if Mr. Snuffy is a Chihuahua, or a Great Dane, we will not put our technicians in danger. In this case, our customer needs to be advised that Mr. Snuffy will need to be contained during the appointment or the technician may not be able to complete the work. Safety first!
