If my eyes were cameras, perfect and wide, I’d store every sunset we watched side by side. Each second you waited, each moment you stayed, Even the times when you looked afraid. I’d frame the nights when you couldn’t sleep, And whispered your fears, dark and deep. The silly talks, the tears you hide — All of it safe, locked inside. Your laughter after crying, your childlike pride, The quiet prayers you never denied. I’d keep them all, these truths so small, As if they were paintings hung on my wall. And if the world ever lost your hue, I’d close my eyes and return to you.
