At this time, Dashers are unable to add or change their vehicle type if their initial background check was completed less than 30 days ago. This is because updating your dash type to a motorized vehicle requires a new background check that includes a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and the system only allows this to be reprocessed after 30 days from the original check. Additionally, please note that to dash with a motorized vehicle, you must have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Once the 30-day period has passed, you’ll be able to request a vehicle type change through the Dasher app or by contacting support again.
