What I learned from our discussion yesterday is that we covered how to navigate the ATLAS system from login through order completion. This includes mastering system‑based tasks such as customer lookup, product recommendations, payment collection, and upselling. ATLAS is used to place new orders, modify or cancel existing orders, and manage work queues where orders wait to be serviced. It’s essential to select the correct environment—Training or Production—before logging in. The Training environment is for practice and does not create real orders, while the Production environment processes actual customer orders and payments. We also reviewed how to place an order using the ATLAS tool. At the start of a call, it’s important to greet the customer warmly and properly brand the call. Gathering key details early—such as the occasion the customer is shopping for—is crucial. For sympathy orders, complete and accurate information is especially important to avoid delivery issues and ensure proper handling. When delivering to a funeral home, you should request the name of the deceased rather than the recipient to ensure accuracy. Use sensitive, compassionate language and reassure the customer that their order will be handled with care. International sympathy orders require at least two days of lead time from the customer’s call to the requested delivery date. We also discussed Celebrations Passport®, an annual membership that provides free standard shipping and no service charges on eligible gifts across the 1‑800‑Flowers.com family of brands, along with exclusive offers and seasonal perks. Your role is to highlight the value of Celebrations Passport to customers and explain how it can make their shopping experience easier and more rewarding.
