TCOBS

The commencement of bewitched souls. The title says it itself. Souls who have been bewitched with a power different for all. Different sources, different meanings, different treasures and thrones who belong to only the strongest of all, Zumin. Zumin, the Mightiest, bravest, strongest of all. And since the knowledge of new born Kazrith, things changed.

"Kaz!" called out a high pitched under developed voice. Kazrith woke up with a cold breath. She shook a little from the feeling of cold air brushing against her skin. The small figure walked towards her with a face of worry. "Kaz? Kaz? Are you okay? You look bad. Kazritha sighed as she got up. "i'm fine, i'm fine" she said, giving a sloppy "shoo" motion. "But Kaz, you look tired, did you get any sleep?" Kaz took a deep breath, then snapped. "I SAID IM FINE!" the small boy's shoulders dropped as tears formed in his eyes. "I- I'm sorry, sis" Kazrith would sigh. "It's okay.. its not you, its me. I've been really stressed lately with work and.. people" she replied, feeling sorry for snapping. She gave him a hug. "You hungry?" she said with a warm smile. The boy's frown slowly turned into a smile.

Kazrith got up with a yawn then proceeded to the kitchen. She took 4 slices of bread she had purchased from the local bakery. Her cousin, Yura, Yura Red worked there after her mother, Kammy Red passed away, taking after the family tradition. The bakery was titled, Red's Kitchen, passed down by the history of Reds. The reds were known for being tight with money untill Yura's great great great aunt, Lilith Red, managed to win the lottery. "What a lucky family" she thought as she held the slices of bread in her hand. She placed down the toasted and held the button down until the bread fell into place. Eventually, it was done, because toast doesn't take too long to make. "Toast is ready, Ed!" exclaimed Kazrith. Edward, Kazrith's little brother came down the stairs with a happy look on his face. "Butter and strawberry jam, the usual?" Kazrith said with a gentle smile. "yes please" said Edward.

Eventually, time went by and everything was okay until she heard a loud screeching noise coming from her basement. "the basement?" she questioned herself. The basement was so unrecognized that Kazrith and the house owners before her forgot it was there. But there was a catch. It was hidden. Hidden in the kitchen beside the counters. It wasnt really hidden but kept away in an inconvient place. "nothings ever happened in the basement not since-" she paused. She kneeled down and opened the small trap door. The noise stopped as soon as she opened the door. The basement made an eery sound, the sound of emptiness. What other sound is scarier than the sound of emptiness? Perhaps the screams of a fight or flight response? No. Kazrith's ears began to make a strong ring. Has this happened to anyone who has enetered the basement? Or was it just her lack of luck? Either way, it was a bad situation. She could feel blood rushing through her body, her heart began to beat fast, then slowly drifted off.

Bum- Bum- Bum-...... Bum......... Bum....Bu..............

....

Kazrith woke up with a horrible headache. The room was white. Giving off the looks of an asylum, or mental hospital. "wh-" she coughed blood and she felt dizzy. "where am ?!" she thought. She couldn't speak, and she could hardly breathe. But the only thing she was focused on was escape. "was this why.. nobody ever went to the basement?" she thought. She lost track of her thoughts when she saw a tall, black figure. It looked like a man with all black, including an all black mask, that seemed to have a design on it. His face was not visible, but he had red hair, not ginger red, an artificial dark-ish crimson dyed red.The picture was faint and blurry in her eyes. "wh.." *cough* *cough* "who... a-are you?" Kazirth said. She couldn't even see the color of his skin because of the black body suit including the gloves. The man walked over and grabbed her tightly then led her somewhere. It seemed as if he was in a rush. He didn't speak a word or anything.

....

Kazrith wanted to scream but she couldn't. The bitter taste and the dry, pain in her throat was too painful to bare. The man led her to a black and white room, with an older man, about in his 60's standing with his hands behind his back.

"welcome, Ritha"
