Rate Plan Increase

Thank you for reaching out. Costs are rising and we haven't touched plan prices in nearly a decade. Even as we've kept prices steady, we've continued to pack our plans with value and build out the industry's best 5G network. Upon checking, your account is indeed included in the ones that received SMS updates on the upcoming increase of rate plan charges. These new charges will take effect on your June or July bill (should be for the cycle starting June 14). Let me just check more details about this for you.

Just to let you know that here at T-Mobile we are committed to offering the best value in wireless with low prices and a best-in-class 5G network, and we have no intention of ever changing that. As costs continue to rise, for the first time in nearly a decade we’re making small adjustments to the prices of some of our oldest rate plans.

Can I switch to a lower priced plan?

Yes, if you are ok with just the basics in a plan, we can look at our Essentials plan lineup. Moving you to this taxes and fees excluded plan may lower your base monthly rate plan charge; however, you will now have taxes and fees billed on top of your monthly charge and Netflix is not included. Changes to your rate plan may also impact your device and promotional credits.

Can you add any discounts to my account?

Thank you for reaching out. We offer Autopay discounts where you can save $5/line, up to 8 lines, when you pay with and keep an approved payment method on file. Let's look up your account to see if you are currently enrolled in Autopay.

Do I have Price Lock?

Thank you for reaching out. No, you cannot opt out of these changes, but you can move to any other rate plan we offer, including newer plans packed with even more value and benefits. Would you like to review your account?

I don’t want to pay this much. What other options are available to me?

I understand that this change may be causing financial hardship. Autopay may be an option for you, when you sign up for Autopay with a Debit card or bank account you will start receiving a $5 discount per line, up to $40 per month.
