Fiber Rate Increase of $5

Customers on fiber internet plans will see a rate increase of $5/month on their bill statement on or after January 28th, 2026. Bill messaging began on December 28th and runs through January 27, 2026.

Details:

Approximately 215,000 fiber internet customers will see this increase

Fiber internet rates increase by a flat $5/month

Special Gig Pricing rates increase by a flat $5/ month

If a customer calls in wondering why the rate increased (or is increasing) when they just installed service a month or so ago, please advise them: 

Before January 28th:

"Paula, a rate increase of $5 goes into effect on January 28th. I apologize for the confusion created by the timing of your install and the date of the rate increase. Your rate going forward is X (insert appropriate price)."

After January 28th:

"Karin, we updated our rates effective January 28th. I apologize for the confusion created by the timing of your install and the date of the rate increase. Your rate going forward is X (insert appropriate price)."

Exclusions

Any legacy fiber customer who received a rate increase between 12/20/25-1/19/26 is NOT INCLUDED in this rate increase.

If the customer is on a standard Ziply Fiber plan and on a promo rate they are NOT INCLUDED in this rate increase and will see the new increase when they roll off of their promo rate in the future.

Increase does NOT apply to copper services.
