Transport Request

1. TR is a vehicle which is used to carry the data from one environment to other environment.

    Here environment is a server.
   

2. How to create TR?

    	 There are two ways to create a TR.
    			(i). Through a transport organizer
    		    (ii)  while doing customize settings 
                                           (when click on save)
   

   1st method : Through a transport organizer

   Tools > Customizing > IMG > Transport Organizer (SE10)

     We have two types of TRs
    		(a) Customizing Request
                 (For a Functional  consultant setting will be saved in  Customizing bench request)
   
    	        (b) Work bench Request
         (For a technical consultant setting will be saved in work bench request)
   

   Each transport request will have two status 1. Modifiable 2. Release If we want to move the data from one server to another server we use work bench request.

   How to release a transport request? If you want to release a transport request

    	(i)  First we need to release child request(s)  and after that we need to 
   

release parent request.

        (ii) Select one of the child request  and click on truck symbol (indicates release directly)

  Once we release TR, It changes from modifiable status to release status.

  Now we need to send a mail  to basis team saying that "I had release a particular TR (no-618) please move the data from development to quality"
