❤ COMPENASTION OPTIONS • when a seller's inventory lost or damaged by a partnered carrier, in an amazon fulfillment center, or during delivery to a customer, we try to replace the item with one with the same FNSKU, if available. In this case, inventory is added to seller's account and a new inventory adjustment report entry is added with text 'transfer from holding account' • if an unit is not available, we reimburse sellers with the estimated proceeds of the sale. ❤ REIMBURSEMENT FACTOR 1. THE SELLER'S SALES HISTORY the RMS tool automatically: • searches for order history of the product for this seller and uses it to calculate the amount to be reimbursed. • Deducts FBA Fees: we can consider Amazon as the seller's buyer and we are reimbursing the same (or close enough) as if the item would have been purchased by any other buyer. This is the reason we still charge the FBA fees since it is treated as a regular order. 2. AVERAGE FBA SELLING PRICE • Considers average selling prices or sales history for all sellers to determine Fair Market Value (FMV). 3. ASIN'S SALES HISTORY • Assigns a value to the product based on similar items with sufficient sales or pricing history. This may commonly be referred to as the Default Reimbursement Value. ❤ REIMBURSEMNT ISSUES There might be situations in which manual action in the RMS tool is needed such as: > The seller is not happy with the reimbursement and wants a re-evaluation. > The PWF provides an error or fails. ❤ POLICY COVERAGE ✔ COVERED • items damaged while in an amazon fulfillment center • Items misplaced within an Amazon fulfillment center • Items lost or damaged by the carriers and distributors that we use to deliver products to the customer • Items lost or damaged while being shipped to an Amazon fulfillment center using Amazon partnered carriers ❌ NOT COVERED • FBA prohibited products • Products that don't adhere to FBA inventory requirements • Restricted products lost or damaged during removal order processing • Defective products or items lost or damaged by customers, distributors or sellers • Expired items • Defective items that arrive at the fulfillment center damaged • Small parcel items shipped using Amazon partnered carriers that are damaged due to inadequate packaging
