SHIZUKA NA SHISEN
Chapter 1: The First Collision
The morning air felt different on the first day of school.
Haru Aoyama stood in front of the gate, gripping his bag tightly. Everything felt too loud, too fast, too new.
“I just need to survive today…”
But the moment he stepped forward—
THUD.
He crashed into someone.
Papers scattered everywhere.
“I-I’m sorry!” Haru said quickly, kneeling down.
The boy he bumped into sighed softly.
“…It’s okay.”
Their hands touched while picking up the same sheet of paper.
Haru looked up.
And met the eyes of Ren Kazuki.
Warm. Calm. Unforgettable.
“…Here,” Ren said softly.
“Thanks…” Haru replied, voice shaky.
From a distance, someone shouted:
“Ren! Hurry up!”
And then Ren left.
But Haru didn’t.
Chapter 2: Unexpected Seat
Haru tried to forget the boy from the gate.
He really did.
But when the classroom door opened again…
“Sorry I’m late!”
It was him.
Ren Kazuki.
And worse—
Teacher Tanaka pointed casually.
“Sit next to Haru.”
Haru froze.
Ren walked over, smiling slightly.
“…Hey.”
Haru forgot how to respond.
Chapter 3: Mika Notices Something
Mika Sato leaned over Haru’s desk during lunch.
“You’ve been weird lately,” she said.
“I’m not weird,” Haru replied instantly.
Mika smirked.
“It’s that Ren guy, isn’t it?”
Haru choked slightly.
“W-what? No!”
But his reaction said everything.
Across the room, Ren laughed loudly with Daichi Morinaga.
And Haru looked again.
Just for a second too long.
Chapter 4: Too Close for Comfort
Ren started appearing everywhere.
During class, their shoulders touched.
During group work, Ren leaned too close.
One time, Ren suddenly said:
“…You smell nice.”
Haru nearly dropped his pen.
“What?!”
Ren panicked immediately.
“I didn’t mean it like that!”
But Haru couldn’t stop laughing.
And Ren was smiling too.
Chapter 5: Secret Notes
Haru opened his notebook one day.
A note was inside.
“Thanks for helping me :) – Ren”
Haru stared at it.
Longer than he should’ve.
The next day, he replied:
“Pay attention in class – Haru”
Ren read it and smiled.
Mika noticed.
“…You’re smiling at your notebook now?”
Haru shut it immediately.
Chapter 6: Rain With Ren
It started raining after school.
Haru forgot his umbrella.
“…We can share.”
Ren Kazuki stood beside him.
They walked together.
Too close.
Their shoulders touched under the small umbrella.
Their hands brushed once.
Neither moved away.
Ren suddenly asked:
“…Do you like someone?”
Haru hesitated.
“…Maybe.”
Ren looked away.
And something in Haru tightened.
Chapter 7: Almost
After school, Haru and Ren stayed alone in the classroom.
Sunset light filled the room.
Silence.
Ren stepped closer.
Then closer again.
Haru couldn’t move.
Their faces were almost touching—
Until the door suddenly opened.
Daichi Morinaga walked in.
“Oops—sorry!”
They jumped apart instantly.
Nothing happened.
But everything changed.
Chapter 8: Confession
The next day, Ren stopped Haru.
Grabbed his wrist.
“…I like you.”
Direct.
No hesitation.
“I liked you since the first day.”
Silence.
Haru’s heart was too loud.
Then he laughed softly.
“…You’re late.”
Ren blinked.
“What?”
Haru looked at him properly.
“I liked you first.”
Chapter 9: First Kiss
Ren stepped closer.
“…Can I?”
Haru nodded.
That was enough.
Their lips met.
Soft.
Nervous.
Real.
When they pulled away—
“…That was my first kiss,” Haru whispered.
“…Mine too,” Ren replied.
They both laughed.
And kissed again.
Chapter 10: After Everything
The next day felt normal.
But nothing was.
Under the desk—
Haru’s hand touched Ren’s.
This time, Ren held it.
Haru opened his notebook.
A final note.
“Stay with me.” – Ren
Haru replied immediately:
“Always.”
And for the first time… Haru didn’t feel alone anymore.
