ILLEGIBILITY:

Eligible customers Any customer with a MileagePlus (MP) account may purchase award bookings. There is a maximum of nine customers per award PNR and a Booking Service Fee (BSF) applies for any award booking purchased via CCC.

ELIGIBLE CARRIERS -Members may redeem award miles for travel on any UA, UAX, as well as Star Alliance carrier-operated flights and other airline (OA) partners. See Airline Partners and Global Alliances | United Airlines

Award travel may be redeemed in any cabin offered by operating carrier.

Exception JSX: Customers are not able to redeem miles for JSX flights.

Restricted travel dates UA/UAX do not have restrictions. Partner airlines may have restrictions that can be found in fare rules.

Exception: Emirates: MileagePlus Award bookings on Emirates Airline (EK) are restricted by market and by ticket. For full details, see the Emirates page on united.com Airline Partners and Global Alliances.

STAR ALLIANCE: -customers can use miles to fly on any star alliance airline or a combination of airlines -the primary star alliance airline you'll encounter in domestic reservations is AIR CANADA -Select star alliance members allow upgrades with miles -some star alliance partners may have travel date restrictions, meaning some dates during the year may be blacked out or unavailable for award travel. Any restrictions can be found in fare rules.

NON-STAR ALLIANCE -customers can use miles to fly on select non star partner airlines -the primary on star partners you'll encounter in domestic reservations are Hawaiian Airlines (HA) and Silver Airways -Some non-star partner may have travel date restrictions, which can be found in fare rules

BASIC AWARDS TYPE:

*AIR AWARDS -MileagePlus (MP) members can use their miles to book awards for travel on UA/UAX, Star Alliance member airlines, and select non-Star partners. MP Premiers and select Chase cardholders are also eligible for last seat availability on all UA/UAX-operated flights.

-Eligible travel includes one-way, roundtrip, and open jaw itineraries -Members should be advised that number of required miles seen on united.com, United app, or receive over the phone is lowest amount required for given itinerary

*STAR ALLIANCE AWARDS

-Customers can use miles to fly on any Star Alliance airline to more than 1,000 destinations worldwide -Members can choose a combination of Star Alliance airlines

*Excursionist Perk

-Excursionist Perk is free, one-way award within select multi-city itineraries. Members booking itineraries with three or more one-way awards are eligible to receive one of those one-way awards for free, if it meets all conditions:

-Excursionist Perk cannot be in MP defined region where travel originates. (For example, if journey begins in North America, only the Excursionist Perk is offered if travel is within region outside of North America) -Travel must end in same MP defined region where travel originates -Origin and destination of Excursionist Perk is within single MP defined region -Cabin of service and award type of free one-way award is same or lower than one-way award preceding it -If two or more one-way awards qualify for benefit, only first occurrence is free

AWARD CODE IDENTIFIER

Award codes are located in linear display of fare calculation line. Refer to PNR fare calculation line.

The award fare basis code indicates the cabin for the award.

ALL AWARDS COMMONALITIES -they are all 0-base fare -quoted in miles instead of dollars -maximum validity of 12 months -refundable sometimes with a fee

325-totalmiles redeemed for the line of flight H-tells us how many zeroes we need to add to the number 325 S(SAVER)-Lowest award booking class (Partners with one booking class per cabin) E(EVERYDAY)-Highest award booking class and UPP 32,500- number of miles to be redeemed for this line of flight.

Excursionist Perk -applies to multi-city itineraries between two or more award regions where one LOF may be free if LOF meets certain conditions. It is designed to preserve original intent of stopover benefit. While LOF qualifies as free and is zero miles, taxes may still apply. Excursionist Perk can be added after travel has begun and must be priced in Navigator.

QUALIFICATIONS: -2 or more travel REGION -must have at least THREE lines of flight -must return to the ORIGINAL AWARD REGION (not necessarily in the same airport)

FREE LINE OF FLIGGHT: 1.cannot be in the starting award region 2.must be within a single award region 3.must be booked in the same (or lower) cabin as the preceding line of flight

CCC: Add FQTR or FQTS

Award PNRs will contain an SSR for the sponsor and another SSR for each customer.

FQTR: Sponsor account number from where miles are redeemed FQTS: Account number of traveler

Note:If the traveler is not a MP member, no FQTS will be added.
