Authorization Decision Codes Authorization decisions codes are used to: • Identify the status of the authorized covered repair/replacement that is being completed on a service request. • Track the type of service work performed, to enable management to evaluate the financial impact of each specific area of coverage on the contract. Pending Approval - When requesting approval, you will document the estimated cost of the covered repair/replacement. You must document the repair/replacement as Pending Approval before requesting approval from your supervisor or lead associate. After receiving approval, update the Pending Approval decision code to reflect the appropriate decision code. AHS Equipment Cost - Used to log equipment cost; documents equipment cost it does not order. AHS Equipment Estimate AHS is supplying a water heater, air handler or Furnace; this code prompts order screen AHS Parts Estimate AHS is supplying the appliance, HVAC or pool parts. Appliance Options – Repair Estimate Authorizing Purchasing to offer repair options. Appliance Options – Replace Estimate Authorizing Purchasing  - to offer replacement options. Autho # - Used by supervisors and lead associates to indicate approval for amounts over the authorizer’s limit. LTD Estimate - Authorizing for the service contractor’s labor-to-date. Deny - Not covering repair/replacement Repair Estimate - Authorizing covered repair Replace Estimate - Authorizing covered replacement CIL Repair Estimate - CIL has been accepted for cost of repairs CIL Replace Estimate - CIL has been accepted for amount of replacement. Concession – Repair Estimate - Authorizing concession for repairs Concession – Replace Estimate - Authorizing concession for replacement Upgrade Estimate - Authorizing upgrade through an AHS service contractor. WRNTY – Repair Estimate- Repairs are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
