Overview:
As we continue to enhance our cyber infrastructure to safeguard customer accounts, we have a rapid yet essential change to our digital password resent process launching as early as Thursday, February 29th. This new flow will consist of one additional SMS notification confirming a password reset request was truly processed by a customer.
DETAILS:

Anyone who initiates a password reset via T-Mobile web or app platform will receive a new notification asking the customer to confirm the request.

If the customer replies yes, it will be followed up with the normal OTP message to proceed.

If the customer replies no, the customer will receive a message informing the password reset request has been cancelled.
